Club Offerings for the 2023-24 School Year
7th Grade Homework Club - Ms. Futcher 2023-24 School Year
This is a time to get some homework done!
In this club, students will:
- Have a quiet place to work on homework and/or study.
- Have the opportunity to seek additional help academically.

Creative Performance Club - Mr. Dauberman 2023-24 School Year
In this club students will be given a space and opportunities to both express themselves over multiple mediums as well as perform/ share their work/art/creations.
- This will be a valuable experience because it will allow and encourage students to put talents and skills to use that they may not otherwise get to.
- This will inspire confidence and help them hone whatever talent it is that they choose to pursue.

Homework Club - Ms. Washington 2023-24 School Year
In Homework Club, students will have a place to come to complete homework assignments and projects.
Often times students are not getting assignments completed because they do not understand it or just need extra support.
I want to provide that support.

Creating Community Club - Ms. Moran 2023-24 School Year
- The "Creating Community" will be a multifaceted club targeting several student recommended ideas.
- The CC will be a great way to get our school thinking about mental health de-stigmatization and allow for peer-to-peer support for dealing with daily situations.
- Please note this is not therapy, but a community where we can use common therapeutic practices such as mindfulness, journaling, art, etc. to facilitate healthy practices within our middle school students as they navigate their middle school years.

Math Counts Team - Mr. Kerrigan 2023-24 School Year
I will host a math club will the goal of competing in the city-wide math competition in February. I will host it for invite only group of 6th and 7th graders and this will be valuable experience for our top students to get exposure to advanced mathematics and compete against other schools.

Girls Club - Ms. Medina 2023-24 School Year
I want to host a girls group/club at Harrity to help our young ladies find a sense of community and belonging.
The primary goals will be to:
- Provide mentoring.
- Provide a safe space.
- Provide a place to explore and develop interpersonal skills.
- Begin the framework for enhancing day to day skills for operating in the world.

Math Tutoring & Computer Club - Ms. Weatherly 2023-24 School Year
In math tutoring we are going to hone in on basic skills to be successful in math at all levels.
In computer club we are going to develop the skills needed to be able to proficiently use a computer. We will also focus on learning how to use Google Suites.

In Homework club, we are going to use afterschool time to support middle school students with the amount of homework they are assigned.
- Students can get additional help from myself and peers who might have mastered certain concepts.
- This will be a valuable experience for our students because it allows for the opportunity to explore peer mentorship and stay on top of their academics.

Photography & Videography Club 2023-24 School Year
Photography/Videography is essential for our students because it teaches a great life skill while also teaching them how to use art as therapy.
This club will:
- Develop a media presence at home games
- Help shoot team photos
- Focus on capturing and recording life as a Wolf Pack at Harrity.

Wolf Pack Leaders - Ms. Darrah 2023-24 School Year
Pack Leaders is our version of student council/ school leadership club. In this club students will…
- help to plan and host events (i.e. school sports games, UBUNTU Night, dances, FUN DAYS, fundraisers)
- film the student news (to be aired weekly during Advisory)
- Be LEADERS in our school community
- Make their voices heard!
This year we plan to have a Harrity Upper election for class president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and homeroom representative.
